Fact 3: There are three provinces which border Lake Garda. The southeast area is bordered by Verona. In the north, it is bordered by Trentino. In the southwest area, you can find Brescia.

Fact 4: Lake Garda is 65 meters above the sea elevation. From the north to the south it is the length of 50 km. From the east to west, Lake Garda is 20 km.

Fact 5: The depth of Lake Garda is around 350 km. The area of the lake is around 143 miles square or 370 km square. Due to the large area, Lake Garda is the largest lake in the country.

Fact 6: Lake Garda is also used to store the water from the Adige River. If the water level in the river is too high, it will be sent to the lake from the Mori Torbole tunnel.

Fact 7: The Lake was formed in the Quaternary Ice Ages by a huge glacier.
